Bioplastic Textile Exploration
In my exploration of bioplastic textiles within the fashion industry, I focused on creating a sustainable and biodegradable solution. After extensive research, I discovered that despite being a commonly used material in this textile—Gelatine powder—it poses challenges in terms of natural degradation. Surprisingly, while it might be easily processed by the human body, its environmental impact remains a concern.
Textile Manipulation
by using upcycled yarn and fabric scraps, colors paints, pearl beading to showcase the body's inner movements.
I used different materials with bright, creamy, shiny, and dreamy textures to create movement in our bodies.
I combined bio-plastic and handknitting crafts with bright colors to showcase the inner highlights.
