Ocean Tear

Each year, billions of pounds of trash and other pollutants enter the ocean. The ocean is overloaded with human waste. I used a tie-dyed fabric to represent the ocean tear because the process of dying colors onto fabric reminds me of throwing waste into the ocean water. Plastic is now the most common element found in oceans. More than 50% of all sea turtles have ingested plastic. I used a violet PVC to represent the devil plastic in the ocean.
